The
Roma Bar first opened its doors in 1973. It has since become a
favourite meeting place for journos, musos, pollies, lefties and
lawyers as well as those who just love good coffee.
We have great coffee and it is well barrista-ed and presented.
Locals know its reputation as well as travellers who have suffered
the anguish of espresso deprivation on the long trek north to
Darwin.
We
are also very proud of our food. The style moves through tropical,
traditional and Asian influenced, to our own very good ideas -
from our exotic daily specials to our fab eggs and bacon breakfasts.
We make our own roti, our own cereal thriller and many other delights.
Drop in and see us sometime. We are open Monday thru Friday from
7am - 5pm (dry season), 7am - 4pm (wet season) and from 8am -
2pm at the weekend.

and make it an occasion? There's a bottle shop just a few doors
